Duke of Edinburgh Silver – Training Session 6

We are delighted to be able to hold our first Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Silver Expedition Package.
The package consists of:
evening planning and training sessions
a day hike (optional if participant has completed their Bronze DofE Expedition or Cheshire Hike)
a practice expedition over 2 nights and 2 days
a qualifying expedition over 2 nights and 3 days
Participants must be either Explorer Scouts or Explorer Scout Young Leaders registered for the Silver Award through Cheshire Scouts and under 18 to attend. To satisfy DofE requirements, we must have a minimum of four Explorers for the expedition to run.
Please register by 5 February 2024.
You must also be separately enrolled for the Silver Duke of Edinburgh award through Cheshire Scouts. Please follow the link below to register:

All meetings will be held at the District Scout Centre, Moor Lane, Frodsham WA6 7DD.  The expeditions will start and end at the District Scout Centre, with transport to and from the expedition area by minibus.
